Information privacy : In Digital era

Today we live in knowledge explosion world where information create in every nano second and in recently  globally and here in India have all of sudden made everyone realise how important infoemation privacy as well as its security is not very sure. It is of many kind of information May be it is based on population, financial, cultural, political, nation security every moment it is possible by hackers to leaked. Which is further may be misuse by terrorist or nation enemies.

Today user not only use their PCs but by tablet mobile every where data  exchange and share frombvarious person that are linked with us known or unknown. Specially in social networking site we see recently USA election result influence by data hacked from facebook so it is very necessary to each and everyone to be aware from all aspect .  Some may even raise concern about the procedure in which the data was collected without the permission of the user. But, that is how it works in the technology domain. As the user engages with the technology, data is bound to get visible and captured.

Various agency that involve in data capturing that may be any app or other digitally oriented entities, would essentially be interested in being able to let others use their user base for targeting them with meaningful products and offers.  by using various sub agency data are rearrange and misuse as per requirement.

In present scenarioThere are three ways in which the data is transmitted from a user to an agency. First is all such data that is voluntarily or inadvertently provided by the user of the app. Second is all the data that the app maker is explicitly or capturing in a hidden way.  The third is where a user shares the data of the people who are connected to him. In installation of various app like Facebook Twitter any game etc are take permission from user which has hidden condition that is ignore by user and gave easy confirmation .

Digital media education and awareness is required at all levels. By which we must aware about our data and make sure of its privacy.  Now like facebook accept it's mistake of hacking of user data and try to improve it's security features also in india aadhar scheme has a possibility if hacking citizen information which must be secured by indian government.The data sharing should be intelligently at all  level and  unawareness or lack of awareness of users should be minimise.
data is transmitted from a user to the other side, can be improved with awareness and transparency that would help users take informed decisions.  One aspect that we have been debating a lot has been being responsible about the transmission of messages over digital platform so that all forms of sensitivities are adhered to.  However, we have been very casual with respect to data. For an individual the Digital data or  information must be checked at the time if sharing .

there is a need to have a policy around Digital information for  develops a framework on users and organisations but also integrates education about Digital World in schools, college , public library for making   Digitally Responsible Indian Citizens for private and safe secure digital era.
